New house. Same wacky mayor.

We've moved to another house in Oakland, our fair city. Some early notes:

• Delancey Street movers were absolutely amazing and exceedingly professional. I can't recommend them enough.
• Even with outside help and good organization, the whole episode lasted 8 hard hours, not including the pre-and post-move packing/unpacking. Phew.
• If you got your DSL pre-2003 (before SBC went PPPoE), the transfer of service location will likely require a service call, even though SBC may first suggest otherwise.
• This may be a good chance to switch to a superior broadband ISP. I'm moving to an SBC reseller called DSLExtreme.

At least we now have lots more space, if without enough guest towels. Come visit anytime!
